Sports Precinct Transformation

This precinct comprises a series of projects delivered over several years for Monash University, including the revitalisation of a swimming pool, a new multipurpose centre, dining facilities, amenities, and a faculty address. Together, they establish a cohesive architectural language that enhances wayfinding, strengthens institutional identity, and improves environmental performance. Central to the design approach is the understanding that sport plays a vital role in university life—not only as a site of competition but as a catalyst for social connection, wellbeing, and campus culture. Each space is designed to perform multiple functions, reflecting the need for adaptability and intensity of use. From formal sport to informal gathering, the precinct supports a diverse and integrated student experience.
