Melbourne Central Revitalisation

Conceived as a series of distinct interiors offering respite from the intensity of the main retail spine, Kosloff Architecture collaborated with GPT Group to reimagine the interstitial zones and amenities of the centre. These spaces are treated as calm thresholds, contrasting the surrounding activity through refined materiality and lighting. Each zone is defined by a unique palette, creating a cohesive yet varied spatial experience. The design enhances amenity, supports intuitive wayfinding, and elevates the everyday moments of pause within the retail environment.

Included in this sequence is a children’s play space, that interacts dynamically with the occupants through audio visual systems that stimulate a sense of delight through colour, texture and materiality. Individual parents’ pods provide retreat from active play area with a calm and soothing palette.
