The complexities of an apartment complex located in the inner-city suburbs of Bendigo is acknowledged in Water Street. Established in 1870, Rosalind Park finds a new life on the façade of Water Street, offering a vertical garden and verandah, forming private open spaces for its occupants. Referencing ideas from the expansive and private traditional Victorian homesteads, the mediation of privacy is a considered and curated affair by employing perforated bricks at varying degrees of porosity to maintain security and limit sightlines.
